Liberal's Anthem

Imagine by John Lennon was mentioned on a local talk radio show as a song well suited to be the anthem of Liberals all around the world. Thinking about it, I never really listened to the song. It had a good sound and I just thought that it was about "hippy love" or "let's all just get along". After reading the lyrics, I realized how much of an aethesitic and socialist diatribe it is.

Imagine no heaven or hell? Ok, Johnny. No heaven would mean nothing to ultimately strive towards or look forward to because after death there is nothing. No hell would mean there is no ultimate consequence or accountability for our actions, live however we want right now...if it feels good do it...no sense of absolute morality...social conditions determine morality of the day. Is that good Johnny? For a decent and moral society, of course not! How can you have morality without an unchanging standard of right and wrong? If morality is defined by the masses, today's child rapist can be tomorrow's hero. Ever seen Natural Born Killers? Of course you haven't Johnny, you were shot down by one.

No countries + no religion = Nothing to kill or die for? Ha! So people don't kill for a nickel bag? I hate to keep mentioning it Johnny, but you weren't killed by Mr. Nationalist or Mr. Christian. Without borders or religion, people wouldn't magically just get along. Right Rodney King? Was he beaten because of borders or religion? Imagine this one Johnny, imagine the world without evil or without liberal wackos...

Imagine no possessions? Socialism 101: Take from the rich and give to the poor. There is a reason Robin Hood is a fairy tale, socialism feeds corruption. But let's just assume we're socialists, what motive would there be for anyone to get ahead in the business world? What types of innovations would there be? What medical advances? The only innovations would be the things that the government wanted because it controls the money. Good for society? No, no, Johnny. Wrong again. Good for slackers and those wanting a handouts? Sure, I'll give you that.

Go ahead, sing your anthem liberals! Just realize that Socialism and Aethesim are the pillars of only one thing: a morally bankrupt society.
