Need More CD Listening Variety...

| | Comments (5) | TrackBacks (0)

I finally got tired of listening to 80s radio stations all day and am now in constant need of full albums that I can listen over and over to. Here are a few that have been getting a ton of playtime with me. Anyone else have some suggestions before I go nuts?

  • 30 Seconds To Mars - 30 Seconds To Mars
  • My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
  • Hinder - Extreme Behavior

I've been into soundtracks for some time now - if you are interested. I think they make good work music because they aren't very distracting. I like the Battlestar Galactica Season 1 and 2 soundtracks, the Halo 1&2 soundtracks, the Total Annhiliation Soundtrack, and the System Shock 2 soundtrack. The Hexic HD soundtrack is nice, and the Fallout soundtrack is good too.

Outside of soundtracks, I've been listening to Chevelle, A Perfect Circle, and Tool.

Oh, and the chick on that Hinder cover is N I C E.

The Red is a great song. Good idea on the soundtracks, I'll have to give BSG a try. The Total Annihilation soundtrack got old pretty quickly, still good, but I'm tired of it. Our game has a very cool soundtrack, the game has 6 movies, each movie with it's own unique style and music. It'd be cool if they allowed you to get the MP3s as downloadable content (for free of course).

I'll probably get some flak from Karen about the Hinder cover when she gets back and sees the website.

Here are two great albums that I love:

Artist: The New Pornographers - Album: Twin Cinema

Artist: The Postal Service - Album: Give Up

Neither are brand new, but if you've missed them, give 'em a whirl.

Don't think I'll be checking out the first one Bill, but I'll give the Postal Service a spin. Had to take down the Hinder honey as she calls it.

Postal Service could grow on me. Kinda fitting that UPS used them for their whiteboard commercials. I like those commercials, it's like the guy doesn't waste one stroke of his pen.
